Saturday and Sunday, September 17-18 Fall Dahlia Show , theme is Tribute to Prince Location: Bachman’s Garden Center, Heritage Room 6010 Lyndale Ave S, Minneapolis

This is a smaller, more relaxed event . Some blooms were not ready in time for the state fair and will get their chance now. The main purpose is to give growers and judges more experience but the public are welcome and it is free.

Just walk to the back of the garden center, behind the shade plants, in the building where the Koi Fish are.

Two Day Event in Sept

Staging time is available Friday between are 9:00 AM and 8:00 PM and Saturday 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM before judging, for members only.

Sat is open to the public from 12:00 noon – 5:00PM

Sunday is open from 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Like many other institutions (including the State Fair) we are paying tribute to Prince. The Artistic Arrangements are based on his song titles:
