2018 Annual Awards Dinner was Sunday November 11
It was held at DeGidio’s Restaurant in St. Paul
We had great attendance so it was good that we had a larger room this year. I hope all who wanted to were able to attend. We enjoyed the social time and dinner and then proceeded with the awards. At the end of which John Kooiman presented Randy Siem with a retirement present (made by a professional photographer friend of his) that was a large photo of a dahlia on metal.
Rick (2nd VP) reviewed the educational topics for next years general meetings and asked for volunteers for the Garden Tour. We had some brand new members that showed some interest.
Larry Bagge said a few words about the future of the Trial Garden, John Kooiman will be taking over, although Larry will still be listed as the TG Director because John is not a senior judge (ADS requirement).
