This is the second time, in a row, that it has rained all day while I am volunteering at the trial garden.
That explains why I was the only one there. Garden looked great. I had heard that a few weeks before it was all overgrown and weedy but I never saw that. Last crew must have done a great job.
I did need to do a lot of deadheading, pinching laterals and dis-budding. Took 3 hours. Even in the rain, I had some tourist stop in to look and chat. I also took photos of most of the entries.
