The dahlia faces major challenges from several different, damaging viruses widespread across the U.S. and the world. We have invited Dr. Hanu Pappu to share his knowledge with us on how to detect viruses and how to avoid them.

Hanu Pappu is one of the world's leading dahlia virologists. Through his research, Hanu has identified new dahlia viruses and developed rapid, sensitive viral detection methods. He is also the director of the Clean Dahlia Center at Washington State University.
