MDS Calendar of Events
General Meetings are on the Second Monday of February, March, May, October, and December.
Join us at 6:15 p.m. for a potluck meal (bring a dish to share and your tableware), followed by a brief business meeting and an informational presentation.
General Meetings are held at the Oak Grove Lutheran Church on 7045 Lyndale Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55423. Enter at the east entrance on Augsburg Ave. Non-members are welcome to join us. You will have an opportunity to ask gardening questions and seek advice from members who are experts at growing beautiful and award-winning dahlias.
Monthly Board Meetings are on Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. unless otherwise scheduled. Consult the below schedule for specific dates and locations.
Other activities, scheduled throughout the year, include our Spring Tuber Sale, Family Picnic, Garden Tour, ADS Trial Garden participation, State Fair and Fall Dahlia Shows, and our Awards Banquet.

Setup and staging time is available Friday between 12:00 noon and 8:00 PM and Saturday 7:00 AM and 8:30 AM before judging for members only.
Thursday, October 6 – Board Meeting 6:30 p.m. Location: Perkins on 494 and France. We will hear a special report from Larry Bagge as a result of his trip to National Show. Please be present to be better informed relative future decisions that we will have to make about our club operations.
